Driving digital retail innovation with NEC at ISE 2019
Working with NEC, the Beaver Group team created a retail themed customer experience using the key phrase ‘start here’. Utilising complex motion graphics, projection mapping and triggered content, the team created immersive retail environments and digital experiences across the NEC stand.
A broad range of technologies were on display, including large format displays, LED for retail environments, projection and interactive technologies.
Beaver Group’s studio generated bespoke video content for the ‘start here’ brand as well as retail adverts across all of the content displays on the stand; including a skateboard deck selector (using a skateboard wheel to spin through different designs on a projection mapped skateboard), mountain bike installation with digital projected content and projection mapping across retail spaces – all with dynamic triggering linked to scenarios.
Using a combination of ‘Lift and Learn’ and LED, visitors could also see a real-world installation for a retail environment, embedded into the store design.
There was also an interactive catalogue, running on large 3×2 video wall, which was supported by a mobile experience. Visitors to the stand could scan QR codes next to the products, building a shortlist of products they are interested in, which they were then able to save for later or email through as a summary from their devices.
Also on display was the latest release of the signage.ninja solution, which was driving all the digital displays and interactive content. Full analytics and data integration supported full measurement of visitors and interaction.
The stand won the ISE 2019 Stand Design Awards – ‘Best XL Stand’, beating some stiff competition!
